Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP).
HF marine radio is used for long distance communication. Cruising yachties, Coast Guard and commercial operators are the main groups that need this qualification. This licence includes the VHF qualification.

The Marine Radio Operator's Handbook is available only in hard copy from
http://www.amc.edu.au/handbooks for about $50.00. You buy this yourself for preliminary study and later reference. Recommended if you have some experience in formal radio. Highly recommended if you are new to radio.
The classroom portion will cost $100.00. The testing portion will cost $100.00 (subject to change) paid to the University of Tasmania..
Please ask for the next course. It is run as required.
